Marcia Pinkstaff has spent the last 15+ years as an Independent Consultant, most recently with Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski Jewelry as a Director. She is single, with two 8 year old pups named Brutus and Scarlett. She is originally from Ohio (hence the Ohio State Buckeye names) and has called Colorado her home for the last 19 years. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
In October 2012 just 7-8 months after a completely clear mammogram, Marcia was diagnosed with Stage 3 Microppilary Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She had no family history yet found herself quickly in a new “norm” of life. While undergoing chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, radiation, reconstruction and 3 additional surgeries, she was able to achieve great success in her business by believing in herself, in endless possibilities and that the best is yet to come.
She is the author of a chapter, Sterling Strength, in the book Ready to Fly, Volume 3. Sterling Strength, her chapter, is about her personal strength throughout her cancer journey. She chose the title of the chapter because “sterling means excellent, valuable, and exceptional. Silver, by itself, is a weaker metal. It is beautiful yet soft and malleable. Jewelers create sterling silver using an alloy produced when combining a strengthening agent to make it durable. She feels that silver—pure and malleable—is how we start out. Then things happen that make us weaker or stronger. They bend us until sometimes we feel like we will break.” The Lord strengthens us.
Stacy Martin
Born in Denver, Colorado, in 1958, Stacey Winters has always embodied a love for people, service, and adventure. An avid traveler from a young age, she cultivated her passion for seeing the world during her college years and soon joined United Airlines, where she has proudly dedicated 47 years of service. Raised by parents who worked in the hospitality industry, Stacey grew up with strong examples of business acumen and compassion for others, values that she has carried throughout her life and career. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she treasures her family—her husband, Elmer, and her two sons, Justin and Jordan—who remain the center of her world.
In April 2016, Stacey’s journey took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. With strength rooted in her faith and encouragement from her husband, who reassured her that “God has her,” she faced the road ahead with courage. Stacey underwent a lumpectomy, radiation, and five years of medication, reaching the milestone of being cancer-free in September 2022. Through regular exams, steadfast faith, unwavering support from loved ones, and her own vigor for life, Stacey not only overcame her diagnosis but has emerged as a beacon of resilience. Today, she celebrates survivorship as a testament to God’s grace, the power of family, and the enduring spirit that continues to guide her journey.
